Mountain history, lore, and life will be on full display during the Georgia Mountain Storytelling Festival, April 13-14, 2018 in Blairsville, Georgia. Enjoy Mardi Gras Bavarian-Style In Helen, Georgia

There’s more than one way to celebrate Mardi Gras, and up here in the mountains, we do it Bavarian-style at an annual event called Fashing, held this year on Saturday, February 10, 2018. For a place that sees upwards of three million visitors a year, the Helen Arts & Heritage Center exudes small town charm.
