Pottery and Agriculture Festival in Cleveland

This year, the 12th Annual Agri-Fest Country Market and 9th Annual “Pottery Comes to Town” Show and Sale will be in downtown Cleveland on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 9am-3pm.

Browse the fresh plants and veggies at the farmer’s market while enjoying some local live music. Make friends with some cuddly farm animals or buy locally made arts and crafts. But whatever you do, don’t miss the “Pottery Comes to Town” portion of the event, hosted by the Helen Arts and Heritage Center. This is a regional gathering of the best of the southeast’s potters.  It’s a truly unique opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind artisan pottery.

This no-charge event is held at Cleveland’s downtown Freedom Park and is sure to be an art-lovers dream. If you can’t get enough pottery, make sure to head on over to the Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia to explore the significance of this art form to the history of the Georgia mountains. Or take a winding ride through the region and explore the Folk Potters Trail of Northeast Georgia to see this local tradition first-hand.

The rich culture and traditions of the North Georgia Mountains come alive with every stay at Lucille’s. Book a room and a spa package for the perfect getaway, resting between adventures in our one-of-a-kind rooms and enjoying a handmade breakfast before setting out to experience the artistry of local craftspeople practicing their work in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains.
