Live Music in North Georgia
The Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center is one of the most celebrated places for performing arts in the north Georgia Mountains. Not only does it host local artists, but it brings in world-renowned musicians to share their talents with our north Georgia mountain region. Here are some exciting concerts that are coming up this fall and winter seasons:
Dr. Milton Masciadri
Dr. Milton Masciadri is a third-generation double bass player whose musician experience spans the globe. He has performed alongside symphonies in Europe, Asia, North America, Central America, and South America. He will also be accompanied by fellow celebrated Brazillian musician Ana Flà via Frazao on the piano.
Performance is Sunday, October 6, 2019, at 4 pm in the Center Theater.
Atlanta Chambers Winds
The Atlanta Chamber Winds is lead by Conductor Robert Ambrose, who has conducted professionally all around the world and performed for such guests as Yo-Yo Ma and Daniel Barenboim. He is associate director of the School of Music at Georgia State University. The Atlanta Chamber Winds is the only ensemble of its type in the Atlanta metropolitan area and includes the leading players of wind instruments in the region, including performers from the Atlanta Opera and Ballet Orchestras.
Performance is Sunday, November 3, 2019, at 4 pm in the Center Theater.
Ciyadh Wells
Ciyadh Wells is a brilliant player of the classical guitar. She holds a master’s degree in Musical Arts from the University of Louisville and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Musical Arts in Music Performance at the University of Georgia. She is passionate about community involvement and strives to improve the world through her music.
Performance is Sunday, December 3, 2019, at 4 pm in the Center Theater.
