  • Brasstown Bald–This is Georgia’s tallest mountain and a great spot for 360-degree views of the area. If you arrive on a clear day you may even be able to see as far as North and South Carolina as well as Tennessee. 
  • Blue Ridge Scenic Railway–This is unique way to take in the area. Take a four-hour train ride along the old Marietta and North Georgia Railways and through the Chattahoochee National Forest. But make reservations soon because these fall foliage tours sell out well in advance.
  • Tallulah Gorge State Park–This park has so much to offer. Take in the fall colors while admiring the beautiful waterfall and gorge along the North Rim Trail.This trail has six scenic overlooks, making it the perfect autumn hike.
  • Yonah Mountain Trail–This path takes you to the top of Yonah Mountain where you are sure to see breathtaking views of the surrounding rolling hills.
  • Vogel State Park–This park has fantastic hiking for all skill levels and plenty of choices to see fall leaves, waterfalls, and wildlife.
