Blink, and you could be walking up to a winery in Tuscany. Welcome to the old-world charm of Serenity Cellars, a Georgia Mountain winery located just outside of Cleveland, Georgia.
Serenity Cellars’ setting lives up to its name—a peaceful plot of land lush with trees and a sloping hill of grape vines. Massive carved wood doors give entry to the rustic stone building where you’ll find a tasting room and gift area. Adjoining this is a large patio with red umbrellas shading the tables and soft white lights providing a cozy nighttime ambiance, a perfect setting for the winery’s weekend music lineup.
Serenity Cellars produces a range of delightful wines, including the specialty Dolce Bella. (we sell here at Lucille’s and it’s downright decadent!). The velvety, dark ruby wine is made with a special Godiva chocolate and tastes like you’re drinking chocolate-covered cherries.
Dolce Bella is one of several dessert wines Serenity Cellars makes. The winery produces a number of whites, including a refreshing Bianco Bello, Traminette, and a fruit-forward Chardonnay. There are also seven red varietals, ranging from drier to semi-sweet. We’re pleased to have six of Serenity Cellars wines for sale here at the B&B. These include the luscious Dolce Bella; two red blends, Tranquility and Contentment; Cabernet Sauvignon; and two whites, Bianco Bello and Chardonnay.
Serenity Cellars offers wine tastings daily, and live music on weekends. Friday is Brink Oven Pizza night: bring all the makings of a pizza and have it cooked in the winery’s brick oven at no charge. Then enjoy it with a glass of wine and background music provided by local favorites Monica and Derek. Saturday and Sunday afternoons feature live music by a variety of other performers.
