Celebrating July 4th In North Georgia Mountains

Of all the holidays we celebrate, July 4th is the quintessential small town affair. Parades, picnics, games, and good down-home food all conspire to make it a fun day of celebration. So this year, we suggest you pack your bags and head up to the North Georgia Mountains—with a stay at Lucille’s of course!Photo of fireworks.

The highlight of any July 4th celebration is the fireworks and our location is perfect—on a clear night you can see four or five fireworks displays right from our deck! If you wish a closer-up view, drive into Helen for its annual fireworks. Best location for watching is behind Alpine Village Shoppes and the Helen Visitors Center.
