North GA Inn Embraces Going Green

While we’re busily working on some room renovations here at the Inn, we’ve also been working on making the Inn more “green.” Our goal is to not only be beautiful on the outside, but to be stellar through and through.

So we’ve been working “under the hood,” as it were,
adding new HVAC to the new rooms, putting in high efficiency appliances and LED bulbs throughout the place.
Oh, and candles now have rechargeable batteries!

A bin for this, a bin for that—we take recycling seriously. We even recycle things like soaps and cleaning products thanks to our relationship with Clean the World.

This is a great organization that recycles soaps, shampoos, conditioners and lotions and then distributes them to homeless shelters and impoverished people around the globe. Through their work, they are helping to prevent hygiene-related illnesses and deaths. A great outcome for our throw-aways!

Now you’ll find all-natural Bee Kind products in guest rooms. Made with ingredients like honey and chamomile, they also come in eco-friendly packaging.

Did you notice our herb and veggie gardens outside? There’s nothing better than having fresh and local ingredients just steps from the kitchen!
