With a prominent location on Highway 17 in Sautee Nacoochee, Sweetwater Coffeehouse gets a lot of notice.
Just minutes from Lucille’s, the shop has been serving the area for more than 22 years and has become a mainstay of our mountain community. If you’re someone who loves nothing better than a great cup of coffee or tea, this is your place.
The coffeehouse buys only certified organic and fair or direct trade coffee and teas. Its lemonade is fresh-squeezed and food is made to order. So settle in and relax over a cup of Peruvian Viennese Roast or a Chai Latte. Try one of the steamers—Irish cream, for example. Or if you prefer tea, the Yerba matte mint. Sweetwater also makes , cappuccinos, seasonal fruit smoothies and refreshing Italian sodas, such as Orange Creamsicle.
Open for breakfast till late afternoon, Sweetwater is a great stop for lunch or snacks. This time of year, you’ll find hearty homemade soups and a soothing chicken pot pie on the menu. Come summertime, fresh garden veggies flavor dishes.
All pastries are homemade, in-house, and with real butter too. Rich pounds cakes are a specialty, and a perfect accompaniment to a cup of coffee.
