Although we love the cool winter days here in Sautee Nacoochee, there is no better time for Lucille’s Mountain Top Inn & Spa to prepare for the busy year ahead. This winter season, we are busy refreshing the Inn and Spa with all kinds of new décor, updates to our unique breakfast menu, and adding on an exciting new guest suite that will give a whole new meaning to “romantic getaway” in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.
Right now we are upgrading the Spa lobby area with beautiful new granite features, comfortable new furniture, a beverage service, and new spa treatments using FarmHouse Fresh’s new facial products. The Inn is also getting an exciting makeover with plush new carpet throughout, selections of new art and finishing touches in the common areas, along with new furniture that will combine to accentuate the existing beauty of the Inn. If you’ve ever stayed with us, you know that we take pride in creating the exclusive breakfast dishes and sweet treats we serve to our guests. We recently attended a presentation by Dana Moos, the author of “The Art of Breakfast” that inspired us to make our breakfasts even more over the top. Winter is definitely a great time for us to spend the day in the kitchen creating new breakfast dishes and menus combinations using local and regional fruits, veggies, dairy products and more. We’ve already got a few new egg dishes, breakfast pizzas combinations and fresh fruit preparations. It’s just another way to treat our guests like family and we hope you can’t wait to taste the results.
But we’ve saved the best for last. The diamond in the center of our renovations and upgrades will be a new luxury suite adjoining the Inn. This separate guest suite will feature a beautifully appointed living room, a contemporary glass stove, an oversized master bedroom with a wet bar and all of the comfortable amenities you’ve come to expect from Lucille’s. Add a private entrance with an outdoor sitting area providing the most beautiful mountain views on the property and you’ve got a slice of heaven! The finishing touch will be a cooper clad outdoor shower facing with a private and spectacular view. We hope to have construction complete and the new suite ready by April 11, 2014, so consider this exciting, romantic new suite for extended stays next time you are at Lucille’s.
