5th Annual Folk Pottery Show and Sale Marks the End of Summer

Behind each unique piece of folk pottery thrown then fired in a North Georgia mountain kiln is a story and a family name to go along with it. Probably the most noted name in Northeast Georgia Mountain pottery is the Meaders family of White County, known for their famous and highly sought after face jugs. Stomp the Grapes at Crush Fest August 31, 2013

The harvest of the grapes will be celebrated Italian style at the 4th Annual Crush Fest on the grounds of Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 7:00PM.  This is the Georgia Mountain Wine Country’s premier event with a turnout of 3,000 expected for the start of this Labor Day weekend’s festivities.
