Fiber Fest Coming In April To Georgia Mountain Town

What do knitting, pottery and sheep have in common? They’re all part of the fun at the Fiber, Farm & Arts Festival, April 29-May 1, 2016 at the North Georgia Zoo in Cleveland.

Spring is sheep sheering time, which is the inspiration for the annual event. Stop by and you can learn all about sheering, as well as spinning, fiber art and more. There will be creations on display from local vendors specializing in fiber arts, knitting, painting, homesteading and crafts. And if you’d like to try your hand at making something, you can do that too.

Like all good fests, this one will have music and food—something to keeping everyone happy! While at the Zoo, you can pay a visit to one of the many wild and wonderful creatures that live there—kangaroos, birds of prey, wolves to name a few.
