Comfy Food & Setting At Copper Pot in Clarkesville, GA

Start with garden fresh veggies and recipes created in your own kitchen. That’s The Copper Pot’s philosophy for good cooking, and it’s paying off. The casual dining restaurant in Clarkesville, Georgia—about a 15-minute drive from our Inn—prides itself on making “good food from scratch.”

The comfortable setting and good beer selection add to the overall enjoyment of dining here. Snacks are fairly standard options, chicken wings and garlic focaccia with dipping sauce, for instance. The interesting flavors come with the main features. Sandwiches, tagged “sammies”, are hearty handfuls, such as the tasty Cuban that layers pulled pork, capicola ham, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions on top of homemade bread; or a rich and flavorful chicken Cordon Bleu.

But the highlight at The Copper Pot has to be the creative, themed dinner specials that it serves on the weekends. A recent dinner showcased steak, and featured New York strip Italian chimichurri; filet with roasted tomato béarnaise; and ribeye with bleu cheese butter. All main courses at the restaurant are served with a choice of two sides. Other menu options include Cracklin’ Chicken and Salmon Cakes, as well as a lineup of pizzas, which come in two sizes.

In addition to good food, The Copper Pot serves up a little fun too, with a trivia night on Wednesdays and open mike night on Thursdays.
