Celebrating the Holidays at Our Georgia Mountain Inn

Thanksgiving is done and we’re slowly easing ourselves into the rest of the holiday season here at the Inn, catching our breath and relaxing a bit after the madness of autumn (by far our busiest season of the year!). This lull between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a perfect time to visit Lucille’s Mountaintop Inn and Spa, especially if you treasure peace and serenity.lucilles-christmas

For us, this is the season to relax and restore. To be grateful for all of the gifts we have been given. To watch the earth around us “take a nap” for the winter. To prepare for the next year and the explosion of beauty in the spring. And to curl up with a blanket in one of our rockers on the porch and just soak in the view, which is pretty awesome even in the dead of winter.

That’s how we celebrate the Holidays here at Lucille’s. No hustle and bustle. No wild parties or big celebrations. Even on New Year’s Eve, we’ll have our normal quiet hours, 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., and keep things pretty low key. We’ll have a good selection of libations available for sale if you want to (quietly) ring in the New Year with your significant other—just be sure to get them before the desk closes at 10:00 p.m., because that’s as wild and crazy as things get up here on the mountain!

Relax. Restore. Rejuvenate. And join us in gratitude for all of the Gifts we have been given.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Charlie, Chuck, and the rest of the staff at Lucille’s.
